Who will advocate for Valya?

Valya grew up in a Ukrainian orphanage, and grew to have a hard look about her through the difficult life she experienced...growing up without parents, and for the majority of her life - having no one to advocate for her, no one to be there just for her.  She has made some sad choices, one of which was becoming a typical orphan girl statistic - she is living and surviving as a prostitute.

Who in the world cares about Valya right now?... Our Father does, and he raised up two other committed advocates for her: Lifesong-Ukraine staff who planted love and seeds of truth in her heart, and Kory and Megan.

Kory and Megan reflect on their previous trips to Ukraine and their relationship with Valya. It's incredible to watch God engage our hearts on behalf of the children he loves so much, as Megan describes in this excerpt from her blog:

We are a broken people living in a broken world. Despite our brokennes, the God of the Universe reaches down and touches lives in personal ways. Sometimes he uses other people to fulfill his purpose. Regardless, He makes himself known and available to all who seek Him. He cares. He cares about me. He cares about Valya.

Here is a glimpse into Kory and Megan's advocate heart:

I feel like God placed Valya in my heart for a purpose...I pray that someday in Heaven I will run into a small girl with long blond hair and brown eyes. She will tell me her story and I will tell her mine and we will rejoice together because we serve a God who cares
How can you care for an orphaned or vulnerable child?  How will you be an advocate?
