Something special happened at a little school in central Illinois (Prairie Christian School)!  An 8 yr old girl @ PCS, decided to help the orphans in Zambia. Completely on her own initiative, and initially unbeknown to her parents, she began to create posters, flyers, and asked her school friends, to give and help the Lifesong School in Zambia!

Now when I first heard this was happening, I thought "ah, that's great...she'll probably help raise $30-$50 and that will be a fun experience for their class"

Boy, was I wrong.  Someone must've watched this video

These PCS kids busted their piggy banks!  Some gave $2.  Some gave $40. All they had in quarters, dimes, nickels & pennies. Kids recruited their parents & grandparents to give.  They did pay jobs around the house, etc.

This small school of only about 35 students helped raise $3,046.31

Whoever thinks kids can't make a difference... must not have met the students of PCS!

Prairie Christian School students & teachers!

The whole school voted on how to spend the money they raised, here is the DIFFERENCE they will be making in Zambia!

1. Playground for School campus

2.  Funding 2 meals/day for all the students

3.  Buying school supplies for teachers & students
