Hope Ethiopia:100 -- Results

Wow. We feel blessed. Humbled. Thankful. Overwhelmed. Excited at the MIGHTY POWER that God worked in YOU last week on behalf of our kids at Lifesong Ethiopia and the Hope Ethiopia:100 campaign. God, as He does, exceeded our expectations and showed us once again, that HE is at work in the hearts of His Church.

A muslim man turns to Jesus

We just received good news that flashes me back to our last trip to Ethiopia in September...

At one point in the trip we traveled to a remote muslim village. The leader of the village had been impressed with the Christians over time that he ended up giving away some of his land and property for a Christian church to be built on. He signed the deed and made it legal!

Not only that, he also sends his grandchildren to the Christian church. His reason why?... He says, "the Christians are perfect".  We all know that's not the case, but it testifies to the genuine and authentic lives these Ethiopian Christians are living!

While we were there, Kendall, felt moved to pray over this man (see picture)

This week we received an email from our missionary friends:

Dear Ones,
 
We have heard from two sources that the Muslim man that some of you prayed over out at the village has given his life to Jesus.  I have asked about it several different ways to verify it, and always the answer comes back that he truly has.  I thought you would be interested in that.
