Reckless Faith

How is our faith - do we live it out in a safe...controlled...comfortable environment?

Is that the faith God intends for us?

It's about living with faith, with the certainty that God will show up, exactly where and when He's needed

"...a willingness to trust even when you don't understand..."

Thirteen years ago a mission trip inspired a young couple to move to Mexico to care for orphans and vulnerable children. This book illustrates God on the move in and through their experiences. Todd and Beth are awesome people who established a ministry (Back2Back Ministries)that helps orphans - the poorest, most defenseless members of a needy country.

Give it a read.

You might not be the same afterwards :)

Reflections after reading this book

Anyone that has moved into caring for the orphan has a reckless faith...in as much as we relinquish control over the results and focus on putting one foot in front of another in obedience.

@Steve - yes... that "relinquishing control over results" part is a doozie for me...
