Abortion on a Gift Card

A real provoking post from our friends Jenna and BJ @ World Orphans.

Can you actually believe that the "gift" of abortions can now be given in $25, $50, $75, and $100 denominations?

Read on...

Gift cards are all the rage now-a-days for the holidays. Don't know what exactly to give that "special someone"? Try a gift card! Let the choose what they want. Just pick the store, give them an amount and they will exchange your money for a beautifully decorated plastic card that will brighten someone's Christmas!

Have you heard the news? There's a new gift card in town. Thanks to Indiana Planned Parenthood, you can now give the gift that WON'T keep on giving - the gift of abortion.

This isn't the first Christmas that infanticide has been fashionable! Though 2000 years have passed since King Herod tried to kill Jesus at His birth (aka Christmas) via the mass slaughter of innocents, the methods have only been slightly adapted. Now instead of just slaying the youngsters after birth, they wait until they are completely born, with the exception of the head, and then jam some scissors in the back of their skull and sever the brain stem.

Sound good? Well, click here if you would like to send the gift of infanticide this year to someone that you love.

"The tragedy is that almost 6,000 fewer children will be celebrating a first Christmas this year," he said, "because they were aborted in Planned Parenthood's Indiana clinics."Mike Fichter, Indiana's Right to Life president

Are you mad yet?

As Christians if we claim to be pro-life, we also have the opportunity and privilege be a part of the SOLUTION for birth mothers - and be willing to adopt our selves or help others to adopt!

Help fund an adoption.

Give vulnerable orphan children a HOME in Ukraine or India.

Give the Gift of LIFE and PURPOSE!

One day every knee shall bow before HIM! A very thought provoking post. I wonder if God cries.

Daniel made a comment about your note "Gift Cards":

"Really sad. I saw this on Foxnews.com a while ago.

I think it would be cool if adoption agencies or crisis pregnancy centers gave out "placement certificates" as a means to get people to consider adoption over abortion. Christianity is doing a better job with crisis pregnancy centers, but still needs to offer practical solutions over just branding abortion wrong. Support for those centers is SO vital. Especially with today's economy and people looking at one more mouth to feed."

@Daniel - I think that's a fantastic idea - and I agree that the more practical of solutions the better - thanks for your comments!

Constance made a comment about your note "Gift Cards":

"I agree with Daniel Luthi, regarding the "placement certificates"...especially when I look at my husband and marvel at the Lord's placing him with such loving adoptive parents, and blessing my life...where would be my wonderful three children and seven grandchildren if Ed's blood mother had opted for an abortion?"
